Can you use a barrel sauna in it?

Our barrel saunas are designed with the outdoors in mind; the barrel shape is waterproof and moisture resistant, and western red cedar is weather resistant. But it works just as well indoors as it does outdoors.

Why not use a wooden barrel to insulate the sauna?

Barrel saunas do not require insulation, as they adapt well to the weather. They have wooden staves that don't release much heat. Their design allows heat to flow easily.

What do you put under the barrel sauna?

There are a variety of materials that can be used as a base for a barrel sauna, but the most popular materials include concrete slabs, flagstones, wooden platforms, brick pavers, and compressed gravel. If your barrel sauna takes place in your home, any floor type is suitable, but carpeting is not recommended.

Do barrel saunas work in cold weather?
